The public inquiries center was closed for about a year due to budget cuts but it is open again on a scaled back basis. POC there is Vincent Whitfield, ext. 43293 and Vincent.Whitfield-1@nasa.gov Rob we’ve got a bunch of giveaways in public affairs that are available for outreach use. Unfortunately, these are not given away but sold at the NASA Store. This inhibits the distribution of these itmes. When I went to Europe and Japan, the pins and stickers went very far in the promotion of NASA the "good will" of NASA and the people that work there, and Americans in general. I got the pins and stickers for free because, at the time, we had a funded outreach program that provided these items, and extra copies of NASA books. Now it is gone, I'm sure it wasn't a budget buster while it was in operation. Yes, and the pins go far also. Unfortunately, these are not given away but sold at the NASA Store.
